Our Story

My name is Muhammad Abu Nassar, a 21-year-old from Gaza, and my family and I are trapped in a nightmare that we never imagined. Before October 7th, we had a home filled with love and hope, a life where dreams still had a place. I was studying at university, working towards a future, and trying to build a life despite the challenges of living in Gaza. But everything changed overnight.

When the war began, it destroyed not just buildings, but our dreams, our safety, and our sense of normalcy. We have been displaced more than seven times, forced to leave behind everything we knew and loved. Each time we moved, we thought we might find safety, but nowhere in Gaza is safe anymore. We have faced relentless airstrikes, hunger, and unbearable fear—this is not living; this is barely surviving.

Our Life Before the War

Life in Gaza was never easy, but we had a home. It was a place of comfort, memories, and family gatherings. I had recently finished high school and was pursuing my education, hoping to build a future despite the difficult circumstances. We worked hard, struggled, but still had hope.

Even in the toughest of times, we found ways to survive. I had small job opportunities to help my family, and we could still afford basic necessities. We shared dreams, laughter, and the determination to push forward. We were not just numbers in a conflict—we were people with aspirations, just like anyone else.

But when the war started, our home was reduced to rubble. Our dreams collapsed along with it.

Our Situation After the War Began

Since October 7th, our lives have been filled with fear, loss, and constant displacement. We have fled countless times, moving from one unsafe place to another. We have slept in overcrowded shelters, in tents, and even on the streets—always on edge, always running.

Everywhere we went, we faced hunger, thirst, and a growing sense of despair. For six months, we have not eaten a proper meal—just scraps, if we are lucky. Malnutrition and sickness have taken hold, and we are running out of strength. The situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic—people are dying not just from bombs, but from starvation and disease.

And now, with the border crossings being controlled and the cost to leave skyrocketing, escaping Gaza has become a privilege that only the wealthy can afford. But we have no savings, no resources—only this urgent plea for help.

Why We Need Help

We need $10,000 per person to leave Gaza. This is the cost to secure safe passage out of this war zone. Without these funds, we are trapped—left at the mercy of a war that shows no signs of stopping.

Your donation is our only chance. This is not about luxury or comfort—this is about survival, about escaping certain death, about giving my family a chance to live. We have no income, no home, and no way to earn money in a city that has been completely destroyed.

Every second counts. The longer we stay, the harder it becomes to leave. Please, if you can help, your support could be the difference between life and death.

How Your Support Can Change Our Lives

Your generosity will mean a safe escape for my family and me. It will mean:

✔ A way out of Gaza—crossing into a safer country where we can start rebuilding our lives.

✔ Food, shelter, and medical care—essentials we no longer have access to.

✔ A chance to dream again—to find stability, work, and maybe even restart my education.

Every dollar you donate brings us one step closer to safety.

How the Funds Will Be Spent

We believe in full transparency and accountability. Every dollar will be used to secure our evacuation from Gaza and rebuild our lives in a safe country. Here is how your support will be allocated:

✅ Border crossing fees – This is the highest cost and the biggest barrier to leaving Gaza.

✅ Travel expenses – Transportation to a safe country where we can seek asylum or support.

✅ Basic survival needs – Shelter, food, and medical aid for my family once we escape.

We will provide updates and proof of every step we take so that you know your generosity is truly saving lives.
